My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

YATES is a 7 year old black neutered male who weighs 85 pounds (ideally should be 80 lbs). He's an easy going good ole boy who likes to be with you and thinks giving you a Lablean is the best way to get his back and butt scratched. He isn't big on retrieving, will go see what you tossed but doesn't always bring it back. He has been out with several other labs at the kennel and does fine. He will play for a few minutes then hang around with the staff to get more attention. Knows sit, come, down and shake. Pulls some on lead better with an Easy Walk. He is approved for kids aged 10+.

Update (4/05): Yates has made himself at home and is doing great. He is a sweetheart who loves to be petted. He likes to go on walks and knows when the leash is being picked up. He does not have to be crated and doesn't get in trouble. He gets along great with the other labs in the house and is playing a little with my Cam. He knows how to sit and give you his paw.

This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. The rescue has around 50 dogs available for adoption.
