My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR WELCOMES DAKOTA INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!

Dakota came to us via a high kill shelter that was going to put this adorable puppy down. IDGSR stepped up to take him fully knowing that this pup had suffered a trauma of some sort to his leg and that his medical bills could be extensive....

Dakota had a broken leg at some point in his short 12 weeks of life much earlier but info is not known.

However extensive xrays were completed and as well as he has been seen by the best Orthopedic Vet in our region. They have determined that no surgery is necessary, that 're-modeling' has been done on the bone in his leg and that he is doing so well that there is no reason to go in there and do anything.

We have his full medical report on this including multiple xrays for adopters.

While he has a slight limp, the Vet said that may eventually go away, however

it is not slowing Dakota down in the least.

This active little guy is not only adorable and sweet,

but he is an active and healthy boy. Nothing is slowing this boy down,

he is a typical German Shepherd puppy that is just full of energy and full of himself.
