I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Mira's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Mira's Story...
Female, 2 year old.
I have had a difficult life and now all I want is a loving family to care for me. I was found roaming the streets so I am a little timid of people, but I have come around a lot. The doctor says I am clear to be adopted.
I am currently being fostered at a daycare and I love all of the staff here. I was protective at first around any food, water & blankets, but I'm almost completely over that and I get along with every dog here. I'm still shy at first but I'm still a puppy and I love to get out and do things once I'm comfortable with you! I did have mange when they found me so I'm still in the process of growing all my hair back. I have to wear a shirt or else I get sunburnt. :( But don't let my bald body fool you! I'm a very healthy, loving and a beautiful girl. I am also great with children! Please give me a second chance, I won't disappoint!
Do you have lots of love to give me? Do you have the patience for me to trust again? If you do then I will make a wonderful pet.

Our rescue is called BARC’s. We are a registered Non Profit.
Our Website is www.bonerz.org. All our animals are posted there and the website is updated often. If you would like to proceed, we need a foster or adoption application to be filled out. They can be found on our website or contact us back here and we can email you a copy. Once we receive your application, we will contact you to arrange a meeting with the pup you’re interested in.
We look forward to hearing from you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mira, a Calgary Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Calgary, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Calgary.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Calgary already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Calgary breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Calgary paves the way for another one to be saved.
