Hey!!! It's me,Shep!! I'm still waiting for someone to snatch me up and make me a part of their family. I've got a lot to offer to the right family!!! As you can see, I'm a lover. I like to snuggle and play and run. I'm smart and very eager to learn anything you can teach me. I'm a very happy boy and I'd like to find a family that loves life like I do. I am a young shepherd mix, and after ending up in a shelter for what seemed like an eternity I finally got my freedom last fall. I got neutered ( not my favorite part of the story) and vetted and sent on my way to Chicago to my foster family. I stayed there through the winter but I'm eager to find my forever family now. You could even do a trial and foster me first but I bet you won't want to give me back. I've been told I'm pretty fabulous. I'd like a fenced yard so I can run and play safely but if you don't have a fence but promise to walk me daily I'd be pretty cool with that too. I'm housebroken and if you prefer I can hang in my crate while you work but I don't chew or have accidents so I don't NEED a crate but I don't mind one either. I love other dogs but If you have one I hope he likes to play because I'm all about playing. I've been fostered with some crabby dogs who don't share my enthusiasm for fun. Don't get me wrong, I love to chill on the couch as much as the next guy but I prefer to have a little fun first. I have a person who says I'm the best dog she has ever met but her crabby beagles don't like me. She loves me so much she will do anything to help me find a family that loves me as whole heartedly and completely as I will love them.... And that's A LOT!!!! No cats, please! I'm a little too much for them. I love kids, though! My adoption fee is $250.
