Olga's Story...
Olga is a sweet little gal that we rescued from a puppy mill. These pictures don't do her justice. She's much prettier in person. She will be 2 years old on February 15th and weighs just under 6 pounds. She is a full breed, fawn smooth coat chihuahua with black sableing and a black mask. From the moment that she came into foster care, you could tell that she wanted to interact. As with all puppy mill dogs, we let the dogs decide when it's ok to come to us. Olga didn't take long. She still has her timid moments but is really coming along beautifully. She is doing well on her potty training. Since Olga is so young, we expect that she will overcome her past in the right home. She'll need to be in a home where she can gain confidence and receive plenty of love and patience. We also think that a more quiet environment will be best for Olga so please don't apply for her if you have active, small children.

The adoption fee for Olga is $200. Each of our dogs is up to date on all shots, including rabies, spayed or neutered, microchipped, fecal tested for internal parasites, treated if necessary, tested for heartworm, treated if necessary, on heartworm preventative and we also take care of dentals or any other medical needs they may have. With your dog, you will receive a health booklet detailing everything that we have done to be sure that they are in the best of health and all spiffed up to be your treasured pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olga, a House Springs Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in House Springs, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in House Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in House Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a House Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in House Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
