My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful boy who lived with his family, kids, and a canine brother from the time he was a pup was shelter bound,but the shelter was closed for the day and lucky for him that it was. The family was moving to a new home out of state and decided they only wanted to take one dog.....and this boy, after 6 years of living life with his family was being left behind. That's OK though, because "Chance," was lucky enough to come into Rescue with us and he will have another "chance," in life to find his forever family who will love him until his end.
Chance is a lovely 6 year old black lab/mix who is completely house trained, doesn't ask for anything more than to be fed, walked & exercised and loved. He still has a lot of life left in him and enjoys playing in the yard, chasing a ball for a while or just bathing in the sun. He's a true gentleman who would love nothing more than to sit by your side and be your best friend. Chance knows basic commands and gets very excited and proud of himself when he's praised for doing them. He would do best in a home with no other dogs as he'll want your undivided attention and be your "only one." He's a lovely, friendly, gently boy who so deserves to find his forever home.
Chance is neutered, up to date on all shots, is very healthy and is microchipped.
