Patches's Story...
Name: Patches
Breed: Pointer mix
Age: Puppy
Gender: Female

Patches is a 6 month old Pointer mix puppy who came into rescue with her mom and sisters after having fun on the farm. Now she is adjusting to life as a house dog, and catching on well to the house training, crates quietly at night, and very much enjoys other dogs. She is a little bit quieter, somewhat shy dog, maybe in part because her entrance to rescue was filled with pain. She came to us with a horrific tail injury that was badly infected, and we had to amputate the tail, leaving her with this cute little bob. She does well with kids and is getting braver by the day, and has always been sweet and gentle. Please email kladams4545@gmail.com with questions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patches, a Minneapolis Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Pointer puppy from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer breeders who help with Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
