My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jaxon is a sweet, playful boy that came to us recently from Bastrop Animal Shelter. He had been picked up as a stray and when he arrived at the shelter he was scared and immediately hid in the corner. You would never guess it by this sweet boy’s attitude now!

Name: Jaxon
Age: Approx. 1 yr.
Gender: Male
Weight: Good
Mix/Purebred: Mix
Housetrained: Yes (no accidents thus far)
Crate trained: In progress
Heartworm Negative/Positive: Negative
Spayed/Neutered: Neutered
Micro chipped: Yes
Good with other dogs: Yes
Good with cats: Yes
Good with children: Yes

When he first arrived at his foster mom’s house he thought he was supposed to stay outside, but he came around quickly to the idea of a dog bed, chew toys, and watching TV.

Jaxon is a docile pup who is very respectful of his foster mom’s 18-yr old cat, but still wants to romp and play like his puppy self. He has not had any accidents in the house, sleeps in his crate at night and also when his foster mom is gone. He has learned to walk like a total gentleman on the leash in only a matter of days! He knows how to sit and is working on stay and shake.

He would love to have a family that will continue to work on his training and shower him with attention. Even the vet commented on what a sweet little guy he was when he went to be neutered. Jaxon is a good doggie!
