My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there. My name is Buster. I am about 7 years old and I weigh about 26 lbs.
I was surrendered to the pound by my owner because her elderly mother was going to be coming home and is on her last stride. The family decided that she wouldn't do well with me because it was said that I was a barker, but I haven't barked here at the pound yet, even when my owner left.
I am a very sweet fellow here at the pound. I love people and I am very affectionate. I will probably not be good with small children. They scare me when they run around me and what not.
I get along great with other dogs too. I can be scared at first with dogs if they're in my face and won't leave me alone but after I get to know them I am great with them.
I am fully housebroken too. I stay in the office at night and I don't mess in the office at night and I don't tear anything up. I am a really good boy.
If you're looking for a great dog to add to you family, please consider adopting me!!
I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER APRIL 3, 2014.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.

MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.

THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
