Hi there. My name is Ramsey. I am about 3 years old and I weigh about 26 lbs.
I was originally surrendered to the pound by my owner because they couldn't keep me at home (after being hit by a car...). They said I belonged to their son who'd moved away.
I was adopted shortly after by a nice girl with a baby. I loved them. Well, My mom started going to school and had a really crazy schedule so she had a friend keeping me for her until she could get me back. I got away from the friend and was loose for more than 5 days before the people who found me even called the pound. When the people from the pound brought me back, the one girl recognized me immediately and looked up my adoption records so they could contact my owner. She didn't even know I was missing because her friend never even told her. After talking to the pound about my whole situation, she decided it was best to leave me here at the pound to find a new home.
I am a great boy. I love all people, but especially kids. I get along wonderful with other dogs and I even do good with cats (per my original owner). I am also housebroken aside from an accident every now and then, but I don't have very many

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.

HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
