My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jazzy (now known as Bailey) is a beautiful Beagle mix. She is 6 years old. She is spayed, up to date with vaccinations and micro-chipped. She was released to a shelter because her owner is unfortunately going through a divorce and could no longer care for her. She is a solid girl that was well taken care of. Her owner left her with a 2 page hand written note about her likes and favorite things. She is definitely not shy about jumping on furniture and making herself comfortable. She sleeps in her crate at night and currently lives with 4 other dogs and 3 young children. She does not really engage with the children but she tolerates them yelling and screaming and jumping on her. She would do well as the only dog in the house or part of a calm pack. She is very respectful of others dog space and never jumps or pushes the other dogs around. She is more of a dog that co-exists with other dogs. She is super curious about her surroundings and sticks her little nose into everything and anything. If you would be annoyed by the constant inhaling and exhaling of a dog exploring her new home do not even consider this nosey girl! She is super sweet and will make a great family companion. She gets very excited when you come home and is a little on the vocal side. But once you acknowledge her presence she falls right into place. She has not had a single accident in the house since she arrived. She has a serious look about her but she don't be fooled...she is a great girl. She does have a sensitive stomach and limits on the brands and types of food she can eat but nothing that is overly costly.
