Louie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, declawed, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Louie's Story...

Louie is an interesting character.  He will require an experienced cat person.  He does not like other cats or dogs.  He is a very vocal boy.  He makes yowling sounds like a Bengal and sounds angry, but I really think he is afraid of pretty much everything.  Louie was declawed on all four paws, which may account for some of his personality.  On his terms, he will sit on your lap and help you at the computer.  He has lovely large marble tabby markings.  Louie has always used the litter box while he's been with us.  We don't recommend homes with children.  His adoption donation is $80 and a home check is required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Louie, a Corydon Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Corydon, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Corydon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Corydon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Corydon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Corydon paves the way for another one to be saved.
