Here's what the humans have to say about me:
If you look really hard, you'll find the world's sweetest, most submissive little dog under all that fur. Lorelei ended up at the Chicago pound after being found as a stray wearing a dirty purple dress. Although it's safe to assume that she was someone's beloved pet -- we know she didn't dress herself -- no one came looking for her. As soon as her stray hold was up, Adopt-A-Pet stepped in and busted her out of the shelter. Lorelei LOVES having her belly rubbed. Say hello to her? She offers her belly. Offer her a treat? She gives you her belly. Look in her general direction? Look! It's her belly! She adores being held close and will not only melt into a hug but return the affection by tucking her head in closer. She appears to be housetrained and seems to be very respectful of other dogs. She gently finagled her way up front during her post-shelter "freedom ride" and contentedly rode shotgun for the better part of the drive. Lorelei is a love! Just adopt her already, will you?
We believe Lorelei is a shih tzu, estimated to be about 2 years old, and weighs in at 12 pounds. Stay tuned for more photos after we groom her up a bit!
Her adoption fee of $310 includes vet exam, heartworm test, distemper combination vaccination, bordetella vaccination, rabies vaccination, deworming, microchip and spay.
