"If I can't eat it, what's the point?" Gatsby is a funny guy!

Gatsby is a lovely old orange tabby. His owners moved & abandoned him on the streets. He scratched on doors throughout the neighborhood begging to be let in. When finally rescued months later, he was starving & had been badly beaten up by the neighborhood stray cats. Now he's healthy, happy & looking for the loving, forever home that he so deserves.

Gatsby is FIV positive, which is not as scary as it sounds. We encourage potential adopters to do some research on this disease that is often misunderstood. Come by the shelter and see him!

Five Acres Animal Shelter is open Tues-Fri from 2-6, Sat-Sun from 12-6, and closed Mondays. 636-949-9918

There is no set adoption fee for FIV cats, but a donation when adopting would be greatly appreciated. All donations help, especially since our shelter is one of the few in the area that adopts out FIV and FELV cats instead of euthanizing.

I come neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and dewormed.
