Hi, I'm Princess! I'm a "pocket pittie" with an interesting rescue story:
My prior owners brought me in to be euthanized...twice. One of the workers in the facility, Genelle, took me in and has tirelessly tried to find me an adoptive home. She contacted over three dozen no-kill shelters and rescues, but no luck. During our time together, my foster has discovered that I am an awesome dog who will make the right family very happy!
I am house trained, leashed trained and familiar with basic commands (come, sit, stay, lay down) and even some fancy commands (spin!). My favorite snacks are meat-based. What can I say, I'm a carnivore! I also enjoy sliced apples and carrots.
I am loving towards all people-men, women, and children. I enjoy snuggling, chilling on the couch and, if allowed, climbing into bed with you. I have a dominant personality and prefer to be the only dog in the household. I am the quintessential Colorado dog, always up for a walk, hike or car ride! Because of my past, I do have some separation anxiety issues, but I have come along way.
If you would like to learn more about me, contact Genelle and she will fill you in!
Genelle can be reached at the following phone and email.
