wendy's Story...
Meet Wendy, a terrier mix who was born in 2009. This little lady hasn't had an easy life, but she's hoping a new forever home will help her leave an ugly past behind. Wendy was surrendered to the shelter in Alabama due to her family no longer wanting her. Despite the terrible things Wendy has seen within the last month, Wendy hasn't let it dim her hopes for a bright future. Each day at AAR, she eagerly soaks up the loving attention they provide. Scratch and massage her ears, she'll love you forever! She's also does well with other dogs. Wendy is a wonderful girl who would truly make someone an amazing companion. Will you give her that second chance of a forever family?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

wendy, a Goldens Bridge Cairn Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier for sale in Goldens Bridge, or seeking a Cairn Terrier dog from a breeder in Goldens Bridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Goldens Bridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Goldens Bridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier breeders who help with Cairn Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Goldens Bridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
