Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I'm Freckles a 3 year old, red n white cocker boy with a natural tail. I might have a bit of something else in me too, but these rescue folks say that I am pretty much all cocker, I'm just taller than usual. My family didn't want me anymore as I was used for breeding, and supposedly the son was allergic to me.
I am looking for my new forever home as I am a nice, very healthy boy, just a bit shy or what you would call: Hand Shy. For an easier transition to a new home, I live in a great foster home with a nice couple until I can be adopted. My foster Mom says I am reserved and cautious, or her version of a well mannered, Southern Gentleman who is good looking and a pleasure to have around. I do not bark a lot and I am a lay back dude that enjoys spending quality time with you. I get along well with my foster buddies that are her fur babies. I don't know if it's because someone has hit me in my past or something else that made me the way I am, but if you go slow with me and can help me to deal with everyday issues, I will love you and do well. I am a calm, easy going guy, but I will do well with you if you are active and enjoy walking or maybe you are a runner and I could be your jogging pal. I seem to be ok with kids as long as they understand to go slow with me, but toddlers make me nervous, so I will do best in a home with kids 7 and older. I am pretty well house trained. Please give me the loving home that I deserve and a 2nd chance to have a great rest of my life. Fill out an application, get approved and come to see me real soon! Maybe I am the new best friend..........you've been looking for.
