Popper-ADOPTION PENDING's Story...
Popper #1135 is a 2-year-old female, Corgi mix. Popper is a happy well-adjusted dog that would do well in any home. She is friendly and affectionate. She is crate/kennel, house and leash trained. She gets along great with other dogs, she is cat curious and likes to give chase, though she shows no malice. Popper is recovering from FHO surgery on her rear hip and is getting therapy, she is showing improvement. We believe you can always teach an old dog new tricks so we highly recommend continued obedience training for this smart pup, it stimulates the dog's mind and establishes a good dog/adopter relationship. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption form, downloadable from our website: http://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoptus.html and return it per instructions. Email dogs@lastchanceanimalrescue.org with questions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Popper-ADOPTION PENDING, a Waldorf Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Corgi dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi breeders who help with Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
