Charlie's Story...
Meet Charlie a cute little Miniature Poodle. Charlie came to the shelter because his owner could no longer care for him, he is 7 years old. He's a real sweetie, his owners tell us that he always slept on the bed with them right between husband and wife. He has a favourite toy that he loves play hide and seek with. Charlie is very loving and affectionate, he loves to give kisses and loves to sleep on the bed (in the photo above, Charlie is hanging out on the bed with his foster dad.

Although you can't see them, Charlie really does have eyes, but he is definitely due for a grooming!

Charlie is staying in one of our foster homes where he is living with several other dogs and cats and has no problem with them. His foster parents say he is absolutely no problem, a very easy keeper.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Colville Miniature Poodle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Poodle for sale in Colville, or seeking a Miniature Poodle dog from a breeder in Colville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Poodle breeders who help with Miniature Poodle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colville paves the way for another one to be saved.
