My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SALLY is a 5 1/2 year old black AKC spayed female who weighs 74 pounds. She came to us with her sister, Shadow, a 5 1/2 year old black AKC female. Sally & Shadow have been together since they were puppies and are dependent on each other. MUST be adopted together. Sally & Shadow are good looking dogs who like to play and get attention. Where one goes the other is not far behind. As their evaluator says "Sally is the boss of the pair, Shadow is a big loveable goof-ball who does what Sally tells her to. When you toss a toy they both go for it but Sally will normally bring it back. Both dogs are gentle - soft mouths - know basic commands (sit, down, come). Both are lap dogs and they love to lay on the couch with you. If they need to go out the will come stare at you. If they want attention they nudge your arm. They are house and crate trained but don't like a crate and don't need one anymore. They like to retrieve and think swimming is wonderful. They are approved for kids aged 10+.

Update (4/27): The girls are awesome! They are both GREAT with our resident lab and just want to be near their humans for a little TLC! Best of all, they love to play, chase a ball and will come back on command. They are definitely “lap” and “at your feet” labs - and they love to climb up and lay on the couch with you (if you let them). They are definitely house trained and if they need to go out they go to the back door and bark. They are incredibly sweet and they know basic commands (sit, down, come). They are the perfect weight for their size. They have free run of the house and at night, they sleep on the floor on dog beds at the foot of our bed. They are definitely a bonded pair and will need to go to the same home - one that will give them love, attention, and exercise.
