Have you ever seen a beagle with wirey hair? Well, Natty appears to be just that! Poor thing was left in a box in a park when she was about 8 weeks old, so we have no idea who mom and dad were. The family that found her kept her through her early months but knew that it would be for the best if Natty could find a real forever home. They have a couple of large dogs and four children so they were spread pretty thin. The good thing is that Natty was raised with lots of love and gets along great with kids and other dogs. While here we have enjoyed watching her mature as she has become a part of our rescue pack. She plays nicely with all of the other dogs and is very attentive to us and eager to please. She is quiet in her crate and walks very well on leash. Natty is still young and has a lot of energy. She will calm down but definitely needs a good walk or romp in the yard as soon as you get home from work or school. Natty is now about a year old and currently weighs 24 lbs. She probably won’t get much bigger. Natty has been spayed and microchipped and is up to date on all of her shots. She is heartworm negative and on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. If you would like to meet Natty please complete our adoption application form at www.cedarfarmrescue.com . After you have submitted the form please call us at 336.251.8877 to set up a time to visit at our adoption center in downtown Mocksville. We are there by appointment only and generally set the appointments for between the hours of noon and 4 pm or after 7 pm any day of the week, holidays included.
