Profile: Gracie was left in a dog park. Good thing Gracie loves other dogs as visitors to the park were amazed to her playfulness. She played for hours, as people though her owner may come back. Half a day of dog park playing and it was clear Gracie was on her own. She was taken home by nice people with a young male Boxer. They had Gracie checked for chip and placed ads to find her owner. Nope, Gracie was on her own and needs a new owner. She is super playful, housebroken and lots of fun. She is crate trained but loves sleeping with her foster mom. She knows sit, down and stay and smart as a whip. When she hears strange noises she sits at foster mom’s feet and keeps watch until foster mom says “its okay”. Gracie is a happy fun loving young girl that will make a wonderful addition to any home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie, a Encino Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Encino, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
