Newman's Story...
Have a craving for a nice hunk of chocolate? Look no further! I'm a smart, handsome boy in search of my forever home. Fetch is my favorite game, and I am really awesome at it! Not only will I bring the ball right back to you, but I will place it gently in your hand or lap. I just can't get enough of fetching! I enjoy being active whether it is running, going for long walks, or playing with toys. So, please no apartments for me, I need space to play. When I am not playing, I enjoy being close. There is nothing better than a butt scratch in my book. If you have other dogs, please bring them for a meet-and-greet so we can make sure that we will be good pals. I tend to get along better with the ladies. I am approved for children over 8. Come see me today and satisfy your sweet tooth!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Newman, a Harrisonburg Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
