*~* In addition to socialization and exercise outside the home, Charlie requires a home with an enclosed yard that will provide plenty of space for exercise. *~*

Charlie is a young male Labrador Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix only 1 year in age. He is quite handsome with his chestnut coloring and black mask. Charlie is a big, sturdy boy weighing in at a solid 80 pounds full grown. He is very affectionate and loves attention from everyone. He loves to play and is thrilled to go to the dog park, dog beach, or anywhere where he can romp around and be silly. Charlie is great with other dogs and would enjoy having another big dog playmate in the home. He is great with children, but will knock very young ones over with his eager expressions of love. Charlie's breed is known for intelligence, loyalty and ease in training. He is HOUSETRAINED and would excel in dog obedience classes and will thrive in a home where he can be included in daily family activities. Charlie will be your loyal companion lying at your feet or as an exuberant play partner. He is always up for whatever you might have in mind and is a really fun dog. Charlie was rescued from a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where he was scheduled to be euthanized due to space. He is a wonderful young dog, healthy, well-adjusted, and with a love for life. He deserves a chance at a long, happy life and is ready for his new forever home today!

Charlie’s adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED and DEFLEAED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Charlie is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Dan is ready for his forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CHARLIE, a Newport Beach Labrador Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
