Hi, I am Pepito a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. I am the brother of Contessa. We believe my dad is a Dachshund. People have called me a Chiweenie because I have a longer body than my sister and I weigh in at 12 lbs. I am just a year old, so I was born 4/12/13. I am extremely shy to those I don't know. So be forewarned, you need to let me approach you and that might take a few hours or several days. So you must be patient and not push me or you may get bit. I can't help myself and from what my foster mom has told me that is just a trait of some of us Chihuahua's. So no children need to be in my life at this time. Once I warm up to you, I am very loving and playful. I get along with most small dogs and cats, however I am frightened of big dogs. I will keep you entertained and protect you if I am given lots of time to acclimate to my new surroundings and not be pushed. My foster mom has lots of smiles and giggles watching me play with my squeaky toys. She calls me and my sister her entertaining duo. My foster mom says there is a special home for me, however the people will have to be very, very patient to earn my trust and love.
