Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Roo is a sweet and loving little black lab mix. He is about 1 year old and weighs 40 lbs. This sweet boy was found as a stray and he was very emaciated and starving to death. He is now in a great foster home and is healthy and thriving. He is a very happy boy after all that he has apparently been through. Roo is just pure bliss 24/7. He is always happy no matter where or what he is doing. Roo acts like he has lived the perfect life. He loves everything about life, all people, children and other dogs, big and small. We are not sure about the kitties, but he would probably love them too. Roo is medium to high energy and loves to run and play with his doggy toys. He is great at playing fetch. His foster mom says, "He is such a joy and lights up the room. Everyone who meets him loves him. He is so sweet and smart. Roo can run outside and will listen to you and come back at any time. He does not run off and he never barks. He gets along perfect with all our dogs and neighborhood children." While he can be a bit hyper, he also loves to relax on the couch and sleep in bed with his foster mom. Roo makes himself at home in no time. He is doing great with house training and can be trusted in the house alone. He is also crate trained, but does not need a crate. Roo has been neutered, is heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and is micro-chipped. He has also been kept on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Roo would make a great addition to any family and brighten up that home. If you would like to find out how Roo could become a part of your family, please complete the online adoption application and indicate this happy boy in the notes section. He will definitely light up your life.
