Snowy's Story...
Snowy is an absolutely beautiful Husky. She is a complete love bug and loves to snuggle. She is already housetrained and uses the doggy door as well. She is crate-trained and is used to sleeping in her crate at night and when left alone. She has never torn up anything but she definitely loves to play with toys and chew on elk antlers and nylabones. She is excellent with children, although she does get excited from time to time and will jump. She does great with medium and large dogs, but will need to go to a home with no small dogs or cats. She walks nicely on the lead but if a kitty is out she may tug but will settle back in. She has an amazing temperament and she deserves a home where she will be loved and appreciated. She is an inside dog, but she enjoys playing outdoors as well so she needs a nice sized yard with a minimum of a six foot fence. She enjoys playing, going for long walks, and getting out and meeting people. Snowy is an amazing dog! Snowy's estimated birthday is March 2013. Come take her for a walk at Petco Humble on FM 1960 just east of Hwy 59 on Saturdays 11:00am-4:30pm and see if she is a match for your family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snowy, a Humble Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Humble, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Humble.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Humble already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Humble breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Humble paves the way for another one to be saved.
