THIS IS LASZLO....a precocious, funny, absolutely adorable 1-1.5 yr old, tri colored, 16.6 lb, male Lhasa Apso. We should have named him "super fly" because he can fly thru the air with the greatest of ease! When he gets excited, he will jump up and kiss you on the nose! Laszlo was passed up at the shelter for reasons unknown to us. If we had to make up his story, it's likely that an older couple probably got him as a puppy and he had just too much energy for them....because he has energy to spare! This is a dog who would love to go running with you....and he is big enough to not be considered a "foo foo" dog for any guy! He is handsome as he is sweet. Probably not the best companion for young children, as he is strong and could knock them over! He loves being with his people, gives tons of kisses and enjoys playing with other dogs. The best home for him would be one where he will get exercised, has a family who will love and train him to be the best companion he can be, older kids would be fantastic but a doting family is most important. He does NOT like being left alone, so another dog or family around is important for his happiness. He seems to be potty trained, but no guarantees at your house! He is very smart....does his business as soon as he goes outside....just wants to please! Laszlo is a winner....a cuddler, a lover, a spooner! We love this boy and want him to go to a home that will love him as much as we do!

UPDATE!!!! Lhasa Happy Homes will be now holding our adoption events most every Sunday at ROVER KENNELS on Main Street in Santa Monica (check calendar link below for special events and directions). Rover is located at 2116 Main Street, in Santa Monica, CA. Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household. Main Street is famous for its innovative shops and is close to the beach! Make a day of it!! Metered parking on the street and free parking on 4th and Bicknell Streets.
Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household....and do some fantastic shopping at the same time! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!
