Annabelle's Story...
Mrs Annabelle is still looking for a home. She came from Okinawa Japan and is a Ryuku-Inu mix. She is about 1 1/2 years old and would love a home with another dog to play with. She will need daily walks and is very smart so training her for agility or frisky throwing could be in her future! She gets along with kids, cats and dogs. She is working on leash training (she pulls right now) and she is crated while noone is home and at night (she feels safe in her crate) She is very sweet and loves to be loved on. She is house and crate trained and is about 35lbs. Annabelle has an adoption fee of $250 to help cover some of her vetting and transport. If you are interested in meeting Annabelle please visit www.doggiesinc.org and fill out a contact form on the California adoptions page

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annabelle, a Upper Marlboro Shiba Inu/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shiba Inu/Labrador Retriever for sale in Upper Marlboro, or seeking a Shiba Inu/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Upper Marlboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Upper Marlboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Upper Marlboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shiba Inu/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shiba Inu/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Upper Marlboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
