My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sheena is a 1-2 year old lab/beagle mix. This girl is a sweetie. She is quiet and calm. She is EXCELLENT with children of all ages (even young infants). She is also great with other dogs and cats. At 35 lbs, she is the perfect house dog size. Sheena loves car rides, plays fetch, walks great on a leash (would also make an excellent running partner), and is happy to curl up at your feet after a long day. She will make some lucky family the perfect dog.

All of our pets are spayed/neutered, HW-, and fully vaccinated prior to adoption.

A copy of our adoption application can be found on our website - www.openheartsrescue.org. Please fill out and forward via email to openheartsrescue@yahoo.com. Meet and greets are only scheduled after an approved application is received. The adoption fee on our dogs is $150.00. We are a foster-based, volunteer organization and answer all emails as quickly as we can.
