Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is a courtesy listing for Dogs of Tumnatki-
Jed is an 8 year old, neutered Black & Tan Coon Hound whom I am fostering for the second time. He was abandoned on my rural road outside Prineville, OR about 7 years ago; I place him with a wonderful couple, where he stayed until last November. His owner died suddenly and the wife was not in a situation to have a big dog, so back to me he came.
Jed is a timid dog who takes time to be comfortable with normal household goings on. He is also very loving and wants to be with his people. He is gaining more confidence by the day, but will never be a typical Coon Hound. Jed will startle at loud noises and quick movements. However, he likes to sleep either at the side of the bed or, when invited, on it! Jed is house trained and will ask to go out.
A well-fenced yard is required, as is a 100% on-leash philosophy; no off-leash running for this boy, except in his safe yard.
Jed will be current on his 7-way vaccine, rabies vaccine and de-worming when he goes to his new home.
To meet Jed, contact his foster through email at tumnatki@earthlink.net
