Walter's Story...
Walter was rescued from a person who abused him, although his rescuers tried to make him a permanent member of their family, the small children were just too much for him. They made him very nervous. He is also said to be scared of men, however, he has taken a very quick liking to his foster daddy. In less than 24 hours he is already snuggled up next to "daddy"

Walter is house broke, crate trained, up to date on shots, neutered, and on heart worm prevention.

If you would like to meet Walter please contact his foster mom @. Smopudtan@yahoo.com
He will also be at Tri County PetsMart on Saturdays from 11:00- 3:00.
Walter is looking forward to meeting his new fur ever family, one that will treat him with kindness and love him as much as he loves them.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Walter, a Aurora Miniature Pinscher/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Dachshund for sale in Aurora, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Aurora.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Aurora already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Aurora breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Dachshund breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Aurora paves the way for another one to be saved.
