Galen hasn't had the best success with adopters. It's not his fault. People, we guess, just change their mind. It's hard to understand why and it's even harder for Galen to understand why. Now Galen and the whole C.A.T. team are on a new search for his forever place. Galen wants a home that is stable with patient, quiet, fun and loving people. He wouldn't mind an outgoing kitty friend too as he really seems to enjoy kittens. Galen is timid and sometimes fearful. He doesn't like loud noises, sudden movements or boisterousness. We think young children are probably more than he can handle though he’s never been with any. In his foster home he was renamed Romeo because as soon as he decides you're the real deal he becomes quite the lover. In truth there is not a more rewarding relationship than the one you actively foster and encourage and that's the kind of relationship you will cherish with this little guy. Galen is still a young boy and likes toys and playing just fine but snuggling is his number one priority. He also enjoys more leisurely activities like reading, watching his shows, knitting, crosswords and miming. He's not holding out hope that a mime will adopt him but stranger things have happened. And, well, actually the more he thinks about it the more he's thinking miming is kind of creepy so he's now asked that we disallow mimes as potential adopters. So sorry. If you'd like to meet Galen and think you're the right fit for him (no mimes please) we’d love to hear from you. Please fill out an application and help this guy live the life he deserves.
All of our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered prior to adoption, up to date on shots, combo tested negative for FIV/Leukemia and microchipped.
