My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB April 15, 2011.

Barney is laid back and easy going, and loves to lay beside you. He is not rowdy or mischievous, but does love to play with his toys. Barney is very appreciative and only wants love, playtime, and, of course, to be fed. He likes to chatter when he wants his dinner, then when he's done, he will lay down and purr loudly, just happy to be safely inside and no longer having to fight for food.

Barney likes to be petted but does not like to be picked up and carried around. He loves to look out the window and watch the birds and squirrels outside. Barney was dumped at one of our colonies just a week before Christmas and was not welcomed by the other cats. He needs people who genuinely want him as part of their lives, in a forever home, and are willing to work with him a bit more to gain his trust. Sometimes when he looks at you he has such a worried look on his face.

He is good company, likes to tell you stories, and will reward you with loud purrs and occasional kisses. He loves to hang out and play with his foster buddy, Bella, who is also looking for a forever home. He would be best suited in a quieter home with no young children and with people who will be patient as they help him relax and blossom.
