My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Update! Chi chi has had both of his hernia's repaired and is one very happy boy. Chi Chi will now have his teeth cleaned and be ready for his new forever family. Is it you? Please go to www.poodlerescuevt.org and fill out an adoption application today.

Poodle Rescue of Vermont is waiving the adoption fee for all our seniors in hopes of helping them find their forever homes.

Chi Chi is eligible for our Senior to Senior program. Please visit http://www.poodlerescuevt.org/senior-to-senior/ today.

Poodle Rescue of Vermont rescued Chi Chi from death row at NYCACC Manhattan Shelter. Chi Chi arrived very lethargic, difficulty urinating and defecating. Immediate medical care revealed, Chi Chi had fluid in his lungs and a palpable mass near his rectum, making it difficult for him to go to the bathroom. Chi Chi has a mouth full of rotten decayed teeth, many which need to be extracted. The good news is all of Chi Chi' blood work is normal, with good hearing and eyesight. Chi Chi was started on antibiotics and lasix and given enemas and stool softeners to help with his bowel movements.

Chi Chi is scheduled to be seen Peak Veterinary Referral for consults with Cardiology, Internal medicine and Ultrasound in preparation for the surgical procedures for his mouth and mass on his rectum and least of our concern, his neuter.
