Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mika (pronounced meeka, and Osage for raccoon) was found as a stray on the streets of Oakland. She is a sweet little soul - shy and undemanding. She doesn't jump on you to be picked up but waits patiently when she knows you want to hold her. She did very well at her first adoption showing, comfortable in the laps of volunteers.
In looks, Mika appears to be Chihuahua mixed with Rat Terrier. She is a compact 8 lbs and 1 - 1 1/2 years old.
Mika's foster mom says she is a cuddly, all-around easy dog. Not a barker, she is house-trained using a doggie door and will sleep in a crate (although she has joined mom in bed a few times). Mika plays well with all the other dogs in the foster home and she does not react to cats. She is a good walker on leash and will even jog with you.
This little girl will make someone a lovely companion.
