Sara's Story...
Sara is a sweet little Chihuahua who was found abandoned on a back porch. She was snatched up and taken to animal control. In spite of her past, she loves people and hopes to be the special dog to a special person. Like all Chihuahuas, she is likely to bond to one person but knows she might have to share. Sara is a happy dog who like to twirl and dance is circles with excitement. She also loves to 'talk' a lot. So if you want a quiet dog, Sara is not the dog for you. Sara wants to enjoy life and is very enthusiastic and joyful. She will make you laugh a lot. Sara is friends with other respectful small dogs and cats. She prefers adult company. Sara is about 5 years old and weights under 10 lbs. Sara is up to date with her shots, spayed and microchipped. She just had a recent dental. If you would like to know more about Sara please feel free to contact us. We are volunteers and work full time, so please be patient.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sara, a Lincolnwood Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Lincolnwood, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Lincolnwood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lincolnwood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lincolnwood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lincolnwood paves the way for another one to be saved.
