Fanny's Story...
Fanny is a very sweet, cuddly, active and lovable, eight-week-old, female, golden-eyed calico kitten looking for a loving guardian. Poor little Fanny was found walking stray and lost without the rest of her family. No one knows where she came from but she was lucky to be found by a cat-lover who took her in and is attending to her needs.

Tiny Fanny uses her litter box like a good little girl. She is extremely playful and has an excellent appetite. Fanny is very healthy, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines and de-wormed. To meet and possibly adopt Fanny, please contact her foster mom Charlie at cpropsom@sbcglobal.net or 773-743-5760. Her adoption fee of $150 benefits rescued pets.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fanny, a Chicago Calico kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Calico kitten from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
