My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wynter Snow is a spayed, female dog, tested Heartworm Negative, micro-chipped, and is current on vaccines (rabies, distemper, and bordetella)

I am Wytner Snow I am a 21/2 year old 40lb Siberian Husky Shepherd mix. I dream about finding a fur ever home with people to love that will love me too! I would like a fenced in yard to run and play in. I am deaf so I learn in a different way. I am currently being trained to respond to a vibration collar and am ready to learn sign language. I am smart and eager to please, so it won’t be too hard. Being deaf is not a bad thing. It means I am not scared of loud noises like fireworks or thunderstorms. It also means I have to look at you more with my beautiful blue eyes( Frank Sinatra had nothing on me). It might take me time to warm up to you initially but once I do I am your friend for life. I love tennis balls and will play with them endlessly. I would also like you to throw my tennis balls to me but I love them so much I might not bring them back! I do get along with most other dogs. I’m not very good with cats or small animals, they are so fun to chase! Just give me a chance and come meet me.

She loves to play and is good with other dogs. Wynter is very smart and very eager to please. A fenced yard is a must for her. She is currently being trained to respond to a vibration collar, which we know she will catch on quickly.

Adoption Process:

Once your application is received, it will be reviewed by our adoption team. We will then contact your personal and veterinary references. Once those steps are completed and approved, we will setup an initial meeting and home visit, which may sometimes happen at the same time. The adoption team will get back to you once all steps are completed to setup the final adoption, including payment of adoption fee and execution of the adoption contract.

Our adoption contract does include a 14 day trial period where the pet can be returned to the rescue and half of the adoption fee is refunded. We want to make sure that it is a great fit for your family and also for the pet!

Please fill out and download the application, located towards the bottom of the page here: www.llrescue.org/adoption
