Hi, I am Charlie and I am a beautiful, plus sized (for now!) Chocolate Labrador Retriever. My previous owners fed me too much and I am very overweight. My foster mom has me on a diet and exercise program and I am so excited! I am feeling better already, I can move better, I can play better, and I am just a much happier fella. Depending on when you read this, I might still have more weight to lose prior to my adoption, or if you really like me, we can discuss a foster to adopt process or if you are willing to be patient and wait for me that would be great too. My new family must PROMISE to regulate my food intake and keep me active. I have already discovered that I am much more playful and active than all this weight made me feel, so I love walks and chasing tennis balls and playing with other dogs (my size, or at least close J). That’s because I am a Labrador! I am very well behaved, house broken, walk well on a leash, get along with big and small dogs and even cats, and am just an all-around good guy. I am still a large Labrador and probably need to weigh 90 lbs or so, so I think I will be quite a handsome fellow when I am at the right weight.
