Martha's Story...
I was only about a week old when my brohers and sisters were left without our mother. We didn't know what happened to her, we only knew she was gone and we were very hungry. Our eyes weren't even open yet to look for her. I weighed less than a pound then.
Lucky for us, a nice lady found us and took us to a rescue group where they loved us, bottle fed us and we grew strong. I am about 3 pounds now and looking for my forever home now. I would really love to be adopted with one of my brothers but I don't have to be.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Martha, a Whittier Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Whittier, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Whittier.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Whittier already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Whittier breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Whittier paves the way for another one to be saved.
