My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Depp is a gorgeous young dog with a muted brindle coat and classic markings. But the beauty is more than skin deep with this boy -- Depp is an affectionate dog, who loves everyone he meets, and is eager to connect with and please his human handler. Depp greets volunteers entering his kennel in a friendly but calm manner, then sits nicely to have his walking gear put on. This behavior is remarkable for such a young, energetic dog! At the shelter, Depp has been introduced to several dogs for play and has had a blast! He has even been out to play with a chihuahua and did great! Depp attends weekly BAD RAP training classes with a volunteer handler, where he is a smart and eager student. In just two sessions, Depp has learned to maintain eye contact and follow his handler on a loose leash, as well as some basic obedience commands. As with all young dogs, Depp will benefit from additional training; continued training with BAD RAP is included for free with Depp's adoption fee. In a nutshell, Depp is a wonderfully well-adjusted dog who will make a great addition to the lucky family that adopts him.
