Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Red is a sweet boy about 1-2 years old. He was turned into the shelter by his owner in deplorable condition. He had no hair, his skin mostly scabbed and bleeding, with lacerations in his neck from his collar growing into it because it was so tight. He is suffering from mange, a non-contagious skin condition easily treated if managed early, but Red was neglected, abused, and in very poor condition. He is now being treated and is growing his hair back! His skin will take some time to heal, but now that he is feeling better he is a happy, loving dog. He is so eager to please and just loves to snuggle. He is a bit timid, as he was likely abused and mistreated. He needs a loving home to help build his confidence to let him know that no one will hurt him again. Red is crate trained, almost potty trained, never barks, never complains, he is learning to walk on a leash, and will make a wonderful member of your family!Our adoptions are restricted to residents of Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Our adoption events are held at the Petco located at 24413 Crenshaw Blvd., Torrance, CA Saturdays from 12pm to 3pm.
