This sweet girl is a victim of the economy. Her owner could no longer care for her and her 9 babies so he contacted rescue. Thankfully we had a foster home open and were able to help. Now Sassy and all her babies will receive all the vetting they need and will be adopted into wonderful forever homes. Sassy is about 2 years old and is very loving and friendly. She unfortunately tested + for heartworms and will undergo treatment the end of April. She should do good with the treatment and will be ready to go to her new home approximately mid May. Just in time for summer!!
She loves to play and run and plays great with her foster brother and sisters. She loves to give kisses!
This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. The adoption fee is $375 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $75 fee will be added for puppies picked up from our Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. MA residents are no longer allowed to adopt from our adoption center or our adoption events due to MA regs. All MA adoptions must be finalized prior to the puppy leaving our care in TN.
