Oakley is a fabulous, assertive little boy! He has a huge personality and isn't afraid of anything! He is a typical Catahoula and therefore will need an owner that is savvy and knows the breed and will be willing to set some ground rules will him, because he will need guidance and training! He is off to a great start. If you are looking for a dog that will be your lifelong companion through thick and thin, this is your boy!
If you are interested in adopting Oakley please email email@example.com and request an application. Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted via email or phone by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family. If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue.
Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered.
Oakley's adoption donation is $350 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heart worm test when appropriate and is on preventative, microchip, and neuter. We do not have a physical shelter, all of our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada.
