Male cutie pit pittie mix looking for love

We have taken care of Trip at our pet resort several times.  We know this is an extremely difficult decision for Trip's Mom and Dad but Trip simply isn't happy in his home. Trip will make a fabulous bestie.  Please consider adopting this silly smiley boy.

Trip is an adorable three year old pittie mix. He is obedient and wants to please, and loves receiving praise from his humans. He has a lot of energy and would need a home where he could be exercised. He has lived with another dog, and is currently boarding in San Antonio with about 20 other dogs while receiving additional training. He is a bit insecure, and would need a strong leader, preferably someone with bully-breed experience. He loves toys, treats, bully sticks, bones, and all things yummy! He would make a great addition for that special person/family, and will be your best friend for life.  Watch his video to see how beautifully is now plays with other doggies.

About I Once Was Lost Animal Advocacy

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a small (3 people) rescue. Our main purpose is animal advocacy. We teach pet owners about the importance of spay/neuter and proper care and love of dogs & cats. We also feed, spay/neuter community cats to help keep down the feral cat population. We are active in our community and help to get dogs off of chains and into homes where they belong. We find our rescue dogs on roadsides. Some we are able to find their homes, they were just lost. However, most were dumped and need medical & emotional care as well as spay/neuter. We take the utmost care of our rescues. Therefore, we are ALWAYS in need of donations so we can continue to stop and save these precious lives. In the past year, we have rescued and placed over 30 dogs into beautiful, loving homes.

Come Meet Our Pets...

If you see a pet listed who you would like to meet, simply fill out our online adoption application. Once approved, we can set up an appointment to meet. This is also a good time to bring other family dogs to meet their new potential best friend.

Our Adoption Process...

$150 adoption fee. Our online contract is on our website. We require references as well as a home check. We also require a meeting with existing pets in the household. We also do follow up checks to ensure the safety and happiness of our adoptees.
