Roo is four years old, and is a 50 pound parson russell terrier mix. With snow white wire fur, and the cutest semi-erect ears one will probably ever see, this sweetheart is looking for her happily furever after.
Roo was actually brought into the city shelter as a puppy, and was diagnosed with parvo, a very deadly virus soon after. She struggled and finally beat it... ROO IS A PARVO SURVIVOR!
A bit of a princess, Roo would do best in a quiet, stable home. She can be dog selective, so she would do best in a single-dog home where she can soak up all of your affection, or in a home with male dogs around her size or larger - she loves to play and run with the big boys! She prefers a home with no small children or cats.
She really enjoys the outdoors, and has proven to be an excellent mouser (who needs a cat when you've got Roo on the task?). Roo knows some basic commands, is crate- and house-trained; she is a great girl! While some might say she's picky, we say she's just got high standards! We know the perfect family is out there for her... could it be you?
