JOCK's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

JOCK's Story...
Jock is a very small Terrier with a big personality. We have no idea what his mix is, it could be some Westie mixed with some Jack Russell. He is definitely on the small side and full of energy and personality. He was in foster with another rescue and comes to us in good shape and a healthy and happy little boy. He is very friendly and he plays well with his buddy, Jace. He loves his toys and will entertain himself for hours. We are still learning all about him but we do know he is totally huggable and sweet as can be.

Jock's adoption fee is $325 to help offset the costs of getting him ready for adoption. Keep checking back, we will add new pictures as we take them. For more info contact Becca at blackdogs@me.com. To request an application, please contact Dawn @blackdogsrescue@icloud.com. Jock will be available to meet his pre-approved adopter at an upcoming meet and greet in Hagerstown, MD.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JOCK, a Bluemont Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Bluemont, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Bluemont.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bluemont already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bluemont breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bluemont paves the way for another one to be saved.
