Coco's Story...
Coco is a sweet pit/lab mix. She is about 1 to 1 1/2 years old. Coco has the most sincere eyes. She is eager to please. She gets along with most other dogs and is good with cats. She is playful and very wiggly. Coco loves people and toys. She walks pretty well on leash. Coco is almost house trained and seems kennel trained, as well. Coco knows some basic commands - like sit. Coco can scale a 4-foot chain link fence, so she needs a yard with a 6 foot or wood fence.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Coco, a San Antonio American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
