Meet the very beautiful Cheyenne! She is abojust over a year old and is a plott hound mix. She and her brother Apache were found running stray together and brought to a kill shelter. A shelter supporter liked them so much that she asked us to rescue them. Apache found a furever family but Cheyenne is still waiting. Cheyenne can jump a fence like an olympic hurdler and will do best in a yard that has a 6 foot privacy fence , and electric farm fence, or with someone who can take her out on leash whenever she is outside. Cheyenne- is extremely affectionate, plays well with other dogs, is house trained, is crate trained, plays hard, so needs older children, or adult humans and is high energy so needs other dog(s) and/or children with which to play or owner who can provide play/walk time. She will make a wonderful pet to the right family.

If you are looking for a high energy dog that is also capable of settling down and being a cuddle buddy at the end of the day, then Cheyenne is a great prospect for you. If you are interested in learning more about Cheyenne, please let us know.info.southernrootsrescue@gmail.com
